Taejin Lee is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Security at Gachon University (2025–present). Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at Hoseo University (2017–2024). Before transitioning to academia, he worked at the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) as an R&D Team Leader (2003–2017), where he was involved in cybersecurity research and development. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Ajou University, his M.S. in Computer Engineering from Yonsei University, and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from POSTECH.
Our lab conducts advanced cybersecurity research across LLM/AI security, network security, and endpoint security. We focus on security threats in large language models and Agent AI systems, including attack techniques, safety evaluation, guardrails, and privacy protection. Our research emphasizes practical, implementable, and verifiable outcomes, such as prototypes, demonstrations, and high-impact publications. In parallel, we develop network and endpoint attack detection and analysis technologies validated with real-world data. Through close collaboration with industry and government-funded projects, we aim to bridge cutting-edge security research and real-world deployment.
